What kind of person do you want to be?

I want to be more fully ME....

Not the "me" of the labels that have been assigned by others, as if I can be placed in a nice little box that perfectly describes all that I am.

Woman.
Daughter.
Girlfriend.
Secretary.

These are the most common labels assigned to me.  But labels are misleading.  From those four short words, one can form a lot of assumptions, some true, some false, and from those assumptions, one might reach some conclusions and everyone who has read The Phantom Tollbooth knows the Island of Conclusions can only be reached via jumping.

As if one can be described solely by the roles she has played.  As if one word can describe the layers of feelings, actions, thoughts, words, and ideas that flow through me in each of those roles and the many, many more faces of me. 

I am fluid.  If you try to put me in a nice little box, you will find that the lid won't quite shut right and I'm oozing out between the cracks and the pores, through the spaces within the molecules of the "solid" walls of a box which can never be truly "solid".  Who I am today may not be who I will be tomorrow, or even in a half hour.  No one person can know all of me, not even myself.

So what kind of a person do I want to be? 

I want to be more of what I already am.  The kind of being that is indescribable.  A reflection of the beauty of all that is, ever was, and will be.  An embodiment of light and love.
